Current conservation-based fisheries law is ending overfishing, and some threatened fish populations are beginning to rebound. In addition, thanks to action from champions like you, the Senate defeated several House-led bills intended to greatly expand offshore oil drilling! Unfortunately, these fragile improvements are being attacked before they can take hold. Multiple bills have been introduced by “hook everything” congressmen that could once again push fish like sea bass, grouper and red snapper to the brink of collapse. And we know we haven’t seen the last push to drill off every U.S. coast! You can help turn back these attacks and restore healthy, thriving fisheries.
