Thanks to your generosity, the November Matching Gift Membership Drive was a huge success!  We had hoped to raise $10,000 during the month of November, but you surpassed all expectations by giving $11,660!  

With two major donors matching gifts dollar for dollar, your support provided significant fuel for the Ocean Champions mission, and we are incredibly grateful.  This money will fund important work that includes:

• Passing our bill to control and prevent toxic algae.  This will protect coral reefs, and fish, and provide cleaner coastal water while protecting human health and jobs.
• Obtaining an Executive Order for a National Ocean Policy.  This could create a "Clean Air Act" for oceans, enabling progress on major ocean health issues.
• Implementing Magnuson-Stevens to rebuild sustainable fisheries before it's too late.
• Finally, your support helps build momentum heading into a big election year in 2010.
