Just a reminder that tomorrow, January 13th is "Wear Blue for the Oceans" day. Tell the Obama Administration that you support a national policy that protects, maintains and restores our oceans, coasts and the Great Lakes by Wearing Blue for the Oceans. Public rallies in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Honolulu, Cambridge, Massachusetts and New Orleans need your attendance to make an impact . Ocean Champions will be represented in Washington, D.C. and in San Francisco. We'd love to see you there, and you know the oceans are counting on you.
If you can't make it to one of the events, you can still wear blue (and encourage your co-workers to wear blue too)! Take a picture of you and your blue buddies and send it in to the Wear Blue for the Oceans website so that everyone can see how much you care.
Remember, the goal is to motivate President Obama to issue an Executive Order creating a National Ocean Policy. He's getting pressure from anti-ocean interests, and this is your chance to show him voters care about the ocean.
For the oceans!
