Feminist Majority

Enough is enough. It’s been 5 months since President Obama nominated Loretta Lynch to be our next U.S. Attorney General. Loretta Lynch is not only superbly qualified, she would make history as the first African-American woman to serve in this position.

Ms. Lynch has prosecuted vicious hate crimes and has fought tirelessly against police brutality. She was the leading prosecutor of the police officers who brutally beat and sodomized Haitian immigrant Abner Louima. Ms. Lynch has also at the forefront of the fight against human trafficking. Her office has indicted over 55 defendants in sex trafficking cases and helped over 100 victims of sex trafficking.

But, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has so far refused to schedule a vote on her nomination. Tell McConnell and your Senators it’s time to stop playing politics -- vote to confirm Loretta Lynch!

She deserves the respect of a vote.
