Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg has just announced some exciting news, and it’s time for Congress to follow her lead.

Facebook will now require its U.S. contractors and vendors with at least 25 employees to provide workers with a $15 minimum hourly wage, a minimum of 15 paid days off for holidays, sick time and vacation, and a $4,000 new child benefit for parents who do not receive paid parental leave.

Sign our letter to Sheryl Sandberg supporting Facebook’s new requirements and then tell Congress it’s time to take action.

Women make up around two-thirds of all minimum wage workers in the U.S. Increasing the federal minimum wage would not only help close the gender wage gap, it would help provide more economic security to women and their families. Tell Congress to raise the minimum wage for all workers and to eliminate the tipped minimum wage.
