Tell Congress to take sexual assault cases out of the military chain of command!

Congress must take immediate action to stop sexual assault in the military. More than a half million veterans in the U.S., female and male, are survivors. In the last two years, sexual assault has increased by 35%. Enough is enough.

We must take the handling of sexual assault cases out of the the chain of command. Urge your Representative to vote for the STOP Act (H.R. 1593) introduced in the House by Rep Jackie Speier (D-CA14) and urge your Senators to vote for the Military Justice Improvement Act introduced yesterday by a bipartisan group of Senators led by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and Senator Susan Collins (ME).
