Please note: While you can certainly use this page to write any letter you like, I hope that supporters of peace will also take this to heart. The suffering of the residents of Sderot and other communities in Israel is real. I am not defending the rocket attacks against Israel. Hamas bears a great deal of responsibility for maintaining the cycle of violence. That being said, Israel is the more powerful force in the region and it is most responsible for maintaining the occupation.
Real peacemakers are able to hold in their hearts that compassion is not a finite resource to be doled out carefully, but an attitude towards the world that encompasses everyone.
