District 1 Kitchen Table Conversation: “Voices of Rural Oregon”

Everyday, our neighbors sit around their kitchen tables having tough discussions about how to make ends meet. Jobs are disappearing, wages are down and healthcare and college are more expensive than ever. It's time to get our economy back on track.  Join us for a conversation among constituents and candidates that links our common concerns and goes beyond all labels and boundaries.

Please join the Columbia County Citizens for Human Dignity (CCCHD), the Rural Organizing Project (ROP), Working Families, MoveOn.org, and Rebuild the Dream at a non-partisan candidates forum for the candidates vying to fill the open congressional seat in Oregon’s 1st Congressional District.

This moderated discussion will focus on the path forward to improve our economy and to rebuild the American Dream for all our residents, with a special emphasis on the rural and small-town communities of our District.

A healthy democracy is the first step to a healthy country – come be a part of the solution.

- Suzanne Bonamici
