Tuesday, April 22nd: It's time to clean up Trenton
Last month NJ Working Families filed a complaint with the New Jersey Ethics Commission against Christie’s close friend and adviser David Samson. The act highlighted massive grassroots opposition to Christie's culture of cronyism in the wake of Bridgegate, and Chairman Samson has since resigned.
On Tuesday, April 22nd the Ethics Commission will meet and have a chance to review our complaint and others surrounding the series of scandals that have come to light since Bridgegate broke. But as the Star-Ledger has reported, Christie has stacked the Commission to protect his friends and allies.
As a result, instead of hearing our complaint against David Samson or complaints made against other Christie cronies, the Ethics Commission plans to review a ridiculous five year old case against a union representative, Dudley Burdge, for the "unethical" behavior of making a phone call to investigate potential identity theft.
Join us on Tuesday and help make sure that the Ethics Commission goes after the people at the top.
