Senator Lieberman: Hands off Medicare
Millions of senior citizens count on Medicare. Senator Lieberman, please don't raise the eligibility age.

Medicare is the foundation of economic security for millions of senior citizens in America.
Too many uninsured and underinsured Americans put off needed care as they approach the age of 65, waiting for Medicare to kick in. In the meantime, health problems get worse, and dangerous illnesses go undiagnosed. This is risky and unhealthy, and raises health costs for all of us.
If anything, it's time to lower the Medicare eligibility age to include more people. Don't raise the age. Hands off Medicare.
