Tell Congress: America wants single-payer health care for all!
Today, 46 million Americans lack health insurance and 25 million more are underinsured. Even those with insurance often face financial ruin if they become sick.
The solution: single-payer health care -- like Medicare -- for all Americans. Sixty-two percent of Americans, including 59% of doctors, now support single-payer health care.
For decades, health insurance corporations with armies of lobbyists have blocked single-payer health care, because the current health care system is so profitable for them. Now, it’s time we demand a health care system that puts people before profits.
The facts – and the voters – are on our side, but we need to tell Congress what we want loud and clear. Legislation has been introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives, but not in the Senate.
