Peace Mom Cindy Sheehan is running for congress in California's 8th district. She is running as a Decline to State candidate with the goal of unseating the do nothing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi violated the Constitution by taking Impeachment off of the table. She did this BEFORE gaining the speakership!! What closed door deals took place for that to happen?
Cindy's campaign is truly a national campaign. Taking down the most powerful democrat in the country will send a message to other politicians. A message that says it is time for them to step up and do the will of the people. Not the will of special interest donors who line their pockets. Not the will of pressure from business as usual Party leaders. Next time it could be their job lost to a true candidate for the people.
With Cindy running as a declined to state or independent candidate she receives no money from Political Party Committees. Cindy accepts no special interest donations. Cindy needs the support of the entire country to take down the Goliath Pelosi.
