Dear Supporter,

We are pleased to invite you to an exclusive, non-transferable, invitation-only, Policy Briefing at the White House on Friday, June 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Policy Briefing at the White House shall be focused on issues of unique interest to the Sikh community, including many of the core issues the Sikh Coalition traditionally addresses.  The briefing will be conducted by White House and Executive Agency officials. To our knowledge, this is the first time the White House has offered to hold a briefing for Sikhs on uniquely Sikh concerns.

By way of background, the briefing is a part of the Sikh Coalition’s Sikh Advocate Academy. You will have the opportunity to also meet Sikh Coalition-trained Advocates on June 8th as well as our staff team. Accordingly, we have organized a day-long celebration of Sikh Activism on Friday, June 8th in Washington, DC. As a critical member of the Sikh Coalition team we would love for you to join us.

Finally, there is a possibility that a tour of the East Wing of the White House will follow the briefing. We are in the midst of confirming whether a tour will follow the briefing and will let you know by late next week.

If you would like to attend the briefing, in order to meet White House Security protocols, you must email ava@sikhcoalition.org the following information by Tuesday May 15th 9am EST:
