By joining the Junior Sikh Coalition I feel like I can truly make a difference in the lives of others through the workshops and projects we do. The trainings we receive in our weekly meetings have strengthened my skills as a leader. I feel more confident as an individual and am determined to create the change I want to see.Kiranjit Kaur, 18, Queens, New York

The Junior Sikh Coalition has impacted me in that it put me in contact with a bunch of other kids my age whom I've become very close to over the year. Even though we spawn from different locations in the tri-state area, we get together every Sunday with a common goal of serving our community.
Namit Singh, 17, New Jersey

By being involved in the Junior Sikh Coalition, I have had the opportunity to speak out about issues my community faces and to also be a part of the solution. Through our workshops and trainings, I have developed many skills, including public speaking and facilitation. I have also gained a network of Sikh teens who are passionate about the same work as I am.
Kirty Kaur, 18, Bronx, New York
