Last week, the Sikh Coalition launched its end of year fundraising campaign. Our aim is to raise $750,000 before the end of 2013 so that the Sikh Coalition can keep fighting with the same level of resources and professionalism that has marked this organization.
To inspire each of you, a group of visionary Sikh donors have pledged up to $130,000 to the Sikh Coalition. But we only receive their support if the community collectively steps up and matches that amount.
It is up to YOU to make sure this promised donation of $130,000 is not lost!
Can you help us meet their challenge?
Make your dollar worth twice as much. Double the impact of your dasvandh!
- $51 = $102 towards equality
- $101 = $202 to secure Sikh civil rights
- $501 = $1002 towards ending anti-Sikh discrimination
- $1001 = $2002 to ensure our collective success in America
If you give today, you are in effect doubling your donation.

Whether it be the victory to persuade the FBI to track anti-Sikh hate crimes, the victories in securing religious accommodations for a Sikh Corrections officer and a Sikh optometry student, the Junior Sikh Coalition beginning their second year with a team that has nearly tripled, or countless resources made available for California educators and Sikh community members for November Sikh Awareness Month in California, your continued support has enabled us to protect not only our rights, but the rights of all.
Your donation will directly affect our future – and pave the way for equal opportunity for all Sikhs and all Americans. This vision for the next generation is only possible through support from committed community members like you.
