Dear Supporter,

The Sikh Coalition is excited to invite you to attend a panel discussion, "Sikh Women in Contemporary America." Inni Kaur, Valarie Kaur and Reshma Singh will share their experiences as Sikh women in their respective professional fields, discuss what inspires and empowers them and of course take questions from the audience.

Please join us on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Sikh Coalition’s New York City office at 50 Broad Street, Suite 1537, New York, NY 10004, with lunch to follow after.

Here’s a little bit about our panelists:

Inni Kaur is the author of the Journey with the Gurus books and Vice President of Spectrum Communications, an advertising and marketing communications firm. She is on the Board of Directors for Sikh Research Institute and also on the Advisory Board for the online magazine Sikhchic.com.
Valarie Kaur is a national interfaith leader, award-winning filmmaker, and civil rights advocate who centers her work around the power of storytelling. She produced the award-winning documentary, Divided We Fall, a film that reviewers describe as one that “inspires us to become who we believe we are.”
Reshma Singh is the Executive Director for The Partnership for Educational Justice, a new education advocacy organization that sponsors impact litigation and other efforts to build public awareness and meaningful coalitions in support of a quality public education for all children.

We encourage you to bring your family and friends with you. To RSVP, please email rsvp@sikhcoalition.org no later than Tuesday, March 25, 2014. Please note that space is limited.

If you have any questions, please email rsvp@sikhcoalition.org. Looking forward to seeing you on March 29th!

Chardi Kala,

Sapreet Kaur
Executive Director
