Dear Supporter,
Imagine yourself witnessing a bullying scene.
“Your hair is too long,” students say to a young Sikh girl, taunting her. “It’s gross!” You are outraged. You know this is wrong, and you know you have to do something about it.
“Stop!” you say. “This girl has long, beautiful hair because she is Sikh, a religion grounded in equality.”
Does that remind you of yourself? Is that the type of person you aspire to be? If so, the
Junior Sikh Coalition (JSC) is looking for you.
JSC, a youth leadership development program, is seeking new youth to join – youth who are committed to creating real change and have a passion for fighting injustice. We are looking for dedicated young people to join our community of youth leaders who are interested in social justice and organizing, and really want to make a contribution to their communities. We are looking to grow our family of Sikh brothers and sisters who empower each other and their communities.

If you have that passion and commitment, we will help you acquire critical leadership skills and mentor you in putting them to use.
