Dear Supporter Ji,

Building off recent Sikh Awareness events across California, the Sikh Coalition is excited to share that we have partnered with the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings to celebrate Sikh Awareness for the second time!

The date for the game is Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 1:00 PM; the Kings will take on the New Jersey Devils, and tickets are discounted at $40 per person. TO SIGN UP FOR THE EVENT, CLICK HERE. There is no promo code needed, and you can easily share the event with friends and family on Facebook by clicking here.

In addition to this special discount, if you sign up now, you will also receive an invitation to enter the stadium early for a pregame photograph on the ice. For information about how you and your children can enter a raffle to access the “Fan Tunnel”–a special greeting zone to meet the NHL players and take a ‘Fanboni’ ride before the game–please email community@sikhcoalition.org immediately. Please include your name, contact email, phone number, and age–priority will be given to youth 21 and under.

For the first time ever, a portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Sikh-led charitable organization Khalsa Food Pantry. Khalsa Food Pantry, located in Pacoima, CA, was recently featured in the Sikh Coalition’s “Sikhs in Seva” video series.

TO BUY YOUR TICKETS NOW, CLICK HERE. If you are interested in purchasing more than eight tickets or want to explore other seating options, please email events@sikhcoalition.org.

The Sikh Coalition has requested kirpan accommodations for this game, but we continue to be told that this accommodation is a Staples Center security issue and cannot be guaranteed by the Kings at this time. The Sikh Coalition remains committed to fighting for kirpan accommodations in every public setting, and we will continue to work to change the current policy.

We look forward to engaging with hockey fans to raise awareness about the Sikh community, and sharing more information about the Sikh awareness materials and activities inside the stadium ahead of the game. We hope to see you there!
