April 6, 2020 (New York, NY) – For two weeks, the Sikh Coalition Kid’s Corner has brought positivity and diverse learning to more than 6,000 people virtually. Click here to catch up on Kid’s Corner--including readings of Super Satya Saves the Day and Be Brave My Love.
This Wednesday, Kid’s Corner will host an interactive art workshop with artist and Sikh Coalition Community Development Manager Harleen Kaur, also known as @immersedinyou
on Instagram. Harleen will lead an interactive art project that attendees can continue to engage in even after the session is over. This workshop is open to kids of all ages, and we encourage parents to participate as well!
“As many of us practice social distancing at home, gathering together virtually to create art can bring us a sense of community,” said artist and Community Development Manager Harleen Kaur. “I hope this workshop gives children and adults alike a chance to take intentional time to reflect and have fun creating art together!”
