November 25, 2020 (New York, NY) – Due to the high volume of requests, the Sikh Coalition has extended the Social Justice Virtual Summit registration deadline until midnight on Sunday, November 29, 2020.
LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER: Are you a Sikh student or young professional and interested in social justice, activism, and allyship? Click here to access registration for our free virtual summit.
The Social Justice Virtual Summit is bringing together Sikh students and young professionals for a weekend of learning about racial and social justice issues, and how this rising generation of Sikh leaders can build allyship with other communities. With the start of the summit only 10 days away, we are excited to share a short video from a few of the leaders, activists, and national experts who will be leading workshops throughout the weekend!
As a reminder, participants will learn directly from those working on critical social justice issues ranging from building the LGBTQ+ movement, environmental justice through the lens of Indigenous peoples, voter suppression, racial inequalities in health and medicine, and more. Throughout the weekend, there will also be opportunities for attendees to interact through breakout sessions--in turn, creating an atmosphere for building sangat.
Please join us from December 5–6, 2020 by registering here
. Registrations will be accepted until Sunday, November 29, 2020 before the deadline completely closes.
