April 29, 2021 (Indianapolis, IN) -- As a reminder, this Saturday, May 1, the Sikh community is hosting a free event open to the public at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN to honor the eight beautiful lives needlessly lost, the five injured, and all those impacted by the mass shooting at a FedEx facility. We encourage Hoosiers of all backgrounds and Sikhs from across the Midwest to attend.
WHAT: Remembrance Event for the Lives Lost & Impacted in Indianapolis on April 15th
WHEN: Saturday, May 1, 2021, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event will begin promptly at 1 p.m.
WHERE: Lucas Oil Stadium (500 S Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225)
WHO: This event is free and open to the public. All are encouraged to attend.
Governor Eric Holcomb of Indiana is confirmed to speak, along with other local and state elected officials, law enforcement officials, interfaith leaders, and representatives of the Indianapolis Sikh community.
