For more than 125 years, Sikhs have made vital contributions to the life, culture, and economy of the state of California. Recognizing these contributions through ethnic studies and teaching about them accurately in California’s public schools is critical for creating safer and inclusive classrooms for all children. We hope that you will
join us on June 30 to learn more about the importance of including Sikh stories in ethnic studies and how you can
#TakeAction to bring them to your classroom in the upcoming school year.

As always, the Sikh Coalition urges you to practice your faith fearlessly.
