November 29, 2022 (Indianapolis, IN) -- Today is #GivingTuesday, one of the most critical fundraising days of the year for nonprofit organizations like the Sikh Coalition and an opportunity to demonstrate the generosity of our community. Even better, every dollar donated before midnight will be matched 1:1, up to $110,000!

Over the last two decades, the Sikh Coalition provides a wide range of free legal services to sangat members in need, including hate crimes, employment discrimination, and more. These services are possible only due to the direct financial support of sangat members like you--collectively, you fund an ‘insurance policy’ that helps those in need.

But sometimes, it is the youngest members of our sangat who need our assistance. Hear from one anonymous Sikh student from Whiteland, Indiana, who we helped this year:



Our work to support the sangat isn’t just about legal aid. Depending on the case, we educate, advocate, leverage the media, or empower the community directly in order to have an impact bigger than any one individual.
