Where does your family spend $100 every month?
Do you use it to buy gym membership?
Or pay for a couple of family dinners out?
What about using it to issue a press release about an anti-Sikh hate crime? Or to help educate non-Sikhs about Sikhi? You could be using your money to create a society that is much more accepting of Sikhs.
In celebration of the Sikh Coalition’s tenth anniversary this year, we are encouraging a new way for each of you to help us continue this fight for the next ten years. We are looking for 1000 Sikh families across the country to become Star donors
by providing recurring support of at least $100 a month to this organization.
Share your Vaisakhi dasvandh with a monthly commitment now.
You can donate monthly with a credit or debit card, or directly from your family’s bank account. A recurring gift provides predictable, reliable income, allowing us to focus more time on social justice work, and less time worrying about money.
Ten years after 9/11, hate crimes are down, and the Sikh voice is in the White House. But the discrimination against our community is becoming ingrained. Sikhs are openly profiled by airport security. Sikh children are harassed in schools. And carrying a kirpan can get you arrested in most states.
To break the cycle of discrimination, we need to apply a continuous stream of effort, pressure, education and advocacy on behalf of the community. Help us sustain that effort with recurring donations.
Include the fight for justice in your monthly budget.
Click here to make a recurring donation of $100, $200, $500, $1000 today.
