On this day, in 1699, Guru Sahib created the Khalsa. By the Grace of God, the Sikh flag continues to fly high, 312 years later and thousands of miles away from Anandpur Sahib.
Why is it that to this day, 312 years later, Sikhi lives in cities like New York, Los Angeles, London and Toronto, thousands of miles away from where Sikhi began?
Sikhi lives because our parents, our grandparents and their parents did everything they could to make sure that our flag kept flying high. They took us to Gurdwara. They taught us keertan. They fought for the Panth when they had to. They imparted upon us the importance of seva. It was a community effort and everyone played their part.
Today, it is your turn to carry the Panth forward! In honor of Vaiksahi and in honor of the efforts of our parents, grandparents and their parents, we ask you to simply donate $16.99 to help us defend the Sikh way of life.
Our goal is to have 5,000 Sikhs donate $16.99 in honor of Vaisakhi. You can join this campaign by donating here:
