Go to Grover’s for Tax Day!

Join other patriotic Americans at noon in downtown Washington, D.C., April 17 — Tax Day 2012 — at the offices of Grover Norquist, the anti-government zealot who has devoted is entire life to making sure the Wall Street 1%’s never pay their fair share!

Help promote fair-share contributions to our national community by all our citizens; protest the starving of vital public goods and services that support the middle class; and demand an end to rigid ideological pledges that strangle our system of government and damage our standing in the world.

Speakers at the April 17 rally will include members of the 1% who demand higher taxes on themselves and those like them in order to fund necessary public investments; and hard-working professionals like nurses who serve the public good and are taxed at twice the rate of Wall Street bankers.  On hand to provide enlightening entertainment will be the D.C. Labor Chorus and the Tax Dodgers vintage baseball team.

This event is sponsored by: AFSCME, American Federation of Government Employees, Americans for Democratic Action, Campaign for America’s Future, Campus Progress/Center for American Progress, Coalition on Human Needs, Coffee Party USA, DC Jobs With Justice, Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO, National Nurses United, National People’s Action, Responsible Wealth, The Agenda Project, United for A Fair Economy, USAction, US Uncut, Wealth for the Common Good, and Working Families Win.
