In Memoriam

Woody Ginsburg, longtime labor economist and Chair ADA’s Policy Committee, passed away last week at the age of 93.  Ginsburg, who worked for the United Rubber Workers Union and the AFL-CIO, was instrumental in the founding of the Center for Community Change.  He wrote numerous articles, studies and reports on the American Economy, and was a prominent voice in support of workers rights and the middle class.  Ginsburg was a friend and mentor to all who knew him.  Contributions in his memory may be made to Americans for Democratic Action.

Nancy Pelosi Confirmed!

Save the date for ADA’s annual banquet celebration – this year celebrating the Honorable Nancy Pelosi as the first ever recipient of the Frances Perkins Award, with other honorees to be announced.  The banquet will take place September 13th at the L’Enfant Plaza Hotel.

  • ADA National Director, Michael J. Wilson will interview Jacqueline Simon, the Policy Director at the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), on the Union Edge Talk Radio today at 3:00pm EST.  Listen to the pod-cast here!
