Standing in Solidarity with American Postal Workers

Last week, ADA joined with Members of Congress, postal unions, and concerned citizens in the National Day of Action to Save America's Postal Service. Read our statement of support here and our recent blog on the Huffington Post of Union Bloggers about the real cause of the current Postal Service crisis. (Hint: it wasn't caused by the Postal Service.)

Also, ADA President Rep. Lynn Woolsey was visited in her Santa Rosa Congressional office last week by more than 150 postal service employees and supporters to thank her for cosponsoring H.R. 1351.

Do You Care About Jobs?

Do you want our politicians to get serious about putting Americans back to work? Take action with ADA's Vote for Jobs campaign and send this letter to your local paper. It takes less than a minute. We need to stop talking about the jobs crisis and start supporting legislative solutions that are currently collecting dust under Republican leadership. Learn more!

Occupy Wall Street and Other Rallies

The Occupy Wall Street Rally is the epitome of a grassroots movement! We've encouraged our members to join and support those protesting for corporate accountability and a government that would stand for average Americans. Protests are happening across the country, and like the Occupy D.C. rally which ADA joined today.
