4 Days Left to Enter to “WWMD” Essay Contest!

Are you a fan of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and want a chance to win a $500 U.S. Savings Bond?  If so, you should enter the “What Would Martin Do?” essay contest! What do you think is the true legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.? Submissions should answer that thought-provoking question while envisioning a conversation between Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and President Barack Obama.

ADA Education Fund to Host a Progressive Caucus Event

The ADA Education Fund is proud to host, “Hawkeye Vision 2012: Caucusing for Working Families,” a political roundtable featuring key Democratic leaders.  This distinguished roundtable discussion will offer the progressive viewpoint on important issues facing working families and the role those issues will play in the 2012 elections.

When:   Tuesday, January 3, 2012 (Caucus Day) at 10 a.m.
Where:  Cowles-Kruidenier Auditorium, Iowa State Historical Building
              Des Moines, Iowa
Featuring:
◦ U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison (DFL-MN), Co-chair of Congressional Progressive Caucus
◦ Celinda Lake, President of Lake Research Partners, and a leading political pollster
◦ State Senator Joe Bolkcom (D-IA), Chair of the Progressive States Network
