Dear Supporter,
Iowa continues to be infiltrated by ultra-conservative GOP Presidential hopefuls. While they’re working hard to serve up red meat to the Tea Party, one thing is seriously lacking from the debate -- real solutions for working families.
That’s why the ADA Education Fund is partnering with Working Families Win Iowa to host a progressive caucus event that will focus on the issues that matter to us.
Please join us for “Hawkeye Vision 2012: Caucusing for Working Families”. This free political roundtable will feature key Democratic leaders who will offer the progressive viewpoint on jobs, health care, education, and other matters facing working families and the role they will play in the 2012 elections.
Tuesday, January 3, 2012 (Caucus Day) at 10 a.m.
Cowles-Kruidenier Auditorium, Iowa State Historical Building
Des Moines, Iowa
Featuring:
- State Senator Joe Bolkcom (D-IA), Chair of the Progressive States Network
- U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison (DFL-MN), Co-chair of Congressional Progressive Caucus
- Celinda Lake, President of Lake Research Partners & leading political pollster
- Ken Sagar, President of the Iowa Federation of Labor
