ADA’s 63rd Convention is just around the corner. The convention schedule is really shaping up and promises to be one of the best to date! Will you join us in Chicago, June 15-17th?
ADA has hosted 63 conventions across the United States since its inception in 1947 by Eleanor Roosevelt, Hubert Humphrey, John Kenneth Galbraith and other leading progressives. Take part in history a join one of your policy commission teams, partake in panel discussions (topics include Occupy movement, health care, feminism, voter suppression and so much more), award presentations and more! For participants arriving on Thursday, there will be a preregistration and networking reception on at the Exchequer Pub in the Chicago Loop starting at 7 pm.
ADA started with FDR's New Deal, but it’s time for a New Deal 2.0. Since 2005, Workings Families Win (WFW), a project of ADA, has had organizers in key areas to help drive policy and elect representatives. In this important election year of 2012, ADA and WFW are meeting not only to change the political and policy landscapes but to shift the public debate and ideology back to one that reflects shared prosperity and public action toward the common good.
This June, please join us and help us create a New Deal 2.0, together. Find out more information and register today!
We hope to see you there!
