Medicare turns 47
Last week was Medicare’s 47th birthday. To celebrate, Working Families Win (WFW) teamed up with the Iowa Alliance of Retired Americans and Know Your Care to host a forum on the Affordable Health Care Act, Social Security, and Medicare. WFW fired up the crowd of activists and concerned community members to get involved by bird dogging candidates and volunteering for voter contact work during the take action portion of the presentation.
