Today is an extraordinary day. As we celebrate President Obama's second inauguration, we are also celebrating the birthday of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The ADA Education Fund continued the "What Would Martin Do?" tradition for a fourth year, this time asking YOU your thoughts on Dr. King, the labor movement, and the American Dream.
Dr. King was a champion of collective bargaining rights and not only understood the link between workers' rights and civil rights, but also the role the labor movement plays in pushing our nation towards social and economic progress. With Michigan’s recent right-to-work law, the arc of the Moral Universe is indeed long.
