No Cuts!

Across the country, ADA is organizing panel discussions, press conferences, and community actions to highlight how further cuts to domestic programs will damage our communities and slow our economy.  Contact us to get involved and find an event near you!

Washing Our Hands of the Dirty Thirty

While there has been a lot of talk about budget sequestration and Federal deficit reduction, missing from the conversation has been outrage about the scores of exorbitantly profitable U.S corporations that pay little or no Federal taxes.  That’s why ADA’s Working Families Win Iowa project is hosting Corporate Tax Dodgers vs. Domestic Priorities on Wednesday, February 20, starting at 6pm.

The panel will feature experts who will explain the damaging impact these cuts have on our community and outline how more progressive revenue approaches can tackle the United States’ deficit.
