Save American Jobs
URGENT: Contact your lawmakers in support of an emergency bridge loan to the U.S. auto industry. A collapse in Detroit could lead to the loss of more than 3 million jobs nationwide and millions of retirees could lose their health care and pensions. This would be a devastating blow to the already fragile economy and an injustice to the men and women who have dedicated their lives to one of the country's more vital industries. Quote of the Week
Former ADA President, Barney Frank, urging President-elect Obama to get more involved in solving the current economic crisis said: "At a time of great crisis with mortgage foreclosures and autos, he (Obama) says we only have one president at a time. I'm afraid that overstates the number of presidents we have."
