President Obama's Budget Sets a Liberal Agenda
President Obama's proposed federal budget is everything liberals could hope for. It returns fairness to our tax code, takes control of the deficit, and makes significant down payments on quality, affordable health care, world-class education and a clean energy future. It is quite literally the most progressive federal budget ever. So it's not surprising the reactionary Right is positively apoplectic...and more dangerous than ever. That's why ADA National Director Amy Isaacs took them on in the press and why we need you to send this email to your lawmakers telling them to pass the President's budget.
Washington Post Ignores Labor in Article About Labor
A Washington Post article which ran on Sunday featured the opinion of 3 corporate CEO's seeking to deflate the impact of the Employee Free Choice Act, a bill that would make it easier for working people to join unions, yet did not include the opinion of a single worker or union representative. Click here to leave your thoughts in the comments section at the Post or use ADA's activist tools to send a letter to the editor in support of EFCA to your local papers.
