ADA Panel: Jobs, Health Care and Economic Security

ADA will host  a panel discussion at 2:30pm on June 5th - the same day as the Annual Banquet - at 122 Cannon House Office Building in Washington, DC.  The panel, held in memory of former ADA President, Representative Jim Jontz (D-IN), will include Economic Policy Institute Founder Jeff Faux, noted health care expert Karen Davis, Steel Workers president Leo Gerard, and activist Jim Gonzalez.  RSVP here.

ADA is here to connect the dots for you.  In coordination with our report on tax fairness, ADA begins this week a major push against the Panama Free Trade Agreement.  In addition to being a NAFTA-style trade agreement that will ship more jobs overseas, Panama is one of the largest harborers of tax evaders and money launderers.  You can help stop this agreement and return fairness to our tax system by sending this email to your lawmakers.
