Afterthoughts on the Midterm Elections
Although we didn't win them all, the ADA PAC and Working Families Win (a project of ADA) were able to contribute to some significant victories. ADA PAC-endorsed candidates’ including Rep. Raul Grijalva, co-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, was victorious in Arizona, as well as Representatives Bruce Braley and Dave Loebsack in Iowa. In California, Sen. Barbara Boxer won re-election, and Sen. Patty Murray was also re-elected ahead in an even closer race. ADA's Working Families Win (WFW) project had grassroots organizers across 11 states educating voters on health care, jobs, and local community issues. These efforts were possible because of ADA supporters all over the country. We look forward to your continued support as we rebuild and retool for the 112th Congress and the 2012 elections.
