In Colorado, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is not on the list of approved conditions for medical marijuana. This means that veterans who seek to alleviate their suffering with marijuana must do so illegally. It's not right, and it needs to change.
That's why the Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol has begun airing an ad featuring Corporal Sean Azzariti, who served in Iraq for six years, including two deployments to Iraq. He tells his story of how he came back from war and experienced symptoms of PTSD, and that marijuana was the best medicine for alleviating his suffering.
