Tell Congress: Don't Forget Alzheimer's

TAKE ACTION TODAY.
SIGN OUR LETTER TO CONGRESS BELOW.

While Congress debates health care reform, there’s one critical fact we need to make sure every member of Congress knows – by investing $5 billion per year on research over the next 10 years, we can find a cure. But, if we fail to act, the cost of treatment and care for Alzheimer’s will be 40 times that amount - $2 trillion.

A startling new report this month finds that the number of people with Alzheimer's and dementia worldwide will jump to 115 million by 2050.

The prediction is shocking, but it is not inevitable.  We have a tremendous opportunity to end Alzheimer’s disease by 2020, so that our sons and daughters never face the tragic prospect of losing a lifetime of memories.

Alzheimer’s research – such as the Alzheimer’s Genome Project – has already made considerable progress toward effective treatments and cures, but we must make a national commitment to increase research funding if we are going to end this disease in our lifetimes.

Stand with Cure Alzheimer’s Fund – leading researchers with a real roadmap to a cure.

Urge Congress to support increased funding for Alzheimer’s research in health care reform and help find a cure by 2020.
