Hi everyone @ the AYCC!!!

Our Sydney high school group (Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design) is holding a stall as part of the multicultural day fair to provide information on the science and solutions of climate change as well as an opportunity to vote in Youth Decide. We are going to have a massive chalk mural with a map of australia with all these climate disasters affecting it and do an awesome flash mob dance on Thursday the 17th-as well as promotional stuff going on all week.

Continuing to spread the Youth Decide love across Australia!

I caught with a good friend of mine, Dave when I was in Perth recently. We took up two of the seats on a 50 person Contiki tour in 2007 and had not seen each other since we had said our goodbyes at a London pub. He has been working as an engineer ever since the Contiki tour finished and I was excited to hear about what he had been working on. However, my excitement turned to disappointment when I discovered that he was a climate change sceptic! To be honest, I thought they were a dying breed –surely the scientific evidence was pretty convincing!....

It’s great to see that 400km out of Adelaide, a Youth Decide event is going on! This is exactly what we need – young people taking the initiative to really solve the climate crisis! Really inspirational stuff.

Queensland is on FIRE!! Not literally.....however considering weather reports of late this could well become a reality. What I mean is...Queensland is really stepping up to take part in Youth Decide 2009.
