Dear Supporter,

We hope this email finds you well.

PPI will be joined by the Center for European Policy Studies, the European Privacy Association and John Cabot University to co-host a unique transatlantic forum on the questions posed by the rise of technology in the global economy. In particular, this conference will focus on global data stewardship, Internet governance, economic impact of data growth and how regulators should approach these issues globally.

As the EU and other regulatory bodies consider new regulations to the new data-driven economy, we are seeking to have a serious discussion about these issues ahead of new law proposals.

This conference will take place in Rome, Italy from Oct. 10-12, 2012. Download the current draft agenda and schedule. We will continue to add participants in the coming weeks.

Arrangements have been made for flights, hotel and meals during the conference. If you would like more information about being a part of this conference and/or sponsorship opportunities, please contact PPI Executive Director, Lindsay Mark Lewis at 202-775-0105 or llewis@ppionline.org.

Warm regards,

Will Marshall
President, Progressive Policy Institute
