Regulating in the Digital Age

May 9, 2013

at

Hotel Monaco - Paris Ballroom
700 F Street NW, Washington, DC

RSVP to attend this event.

Regulation is a polarizing political issue – but it doesn’t have to be. To renew America’s economic strength and dynamism, we need a regulatory environment friendlier to innovation and entrepreneurship. At the same time, it is essential that we have a regulatory structure that strongly protects public health, safety and the environment, while keeping powerful economic actors honest.

This conference will explore alternatives to this “all or nothing” debate. It will examine common sense ways to reduce regulatory drag and compliance costs, update and reform key regulatory bodies, and remove obstacles to innovation, without eviscerating tough health and environmental safeguards.
