We can't wait for Congress to act!

The federal law that’s supposed to protect us from toxic chemicals, the Toxic Substances Control Act, is badly broken. In fact, since the law was enacted in 1976, only 5 of more than 80,000 chemicals used in commerce have ever been banned. This is not acceptable!

While Vermont's U.S. Senators are strong supporters of tougher chemical regulation, we all know how hard it is to get a law passed in Washington.  We can’t wait for them to act.

We need Vermont regulators to do all they can, immediately, to better protect our families from toxins.

Please tell Gov. Shumlin we need to keep toxic chemicals out of our homes and bodies!
