Move the Game

Move the Game

The Major League Baseball All-Star Game is scheduled for Phoenix, Arizona, in 2011.

Moving the All Star game from Phoenix would make a powerful statement against extremism and discrimination, and keep baseball on the right side of history.

Arizona's SB 1070, which essentially legalizes racial profiling, and criminalizes immigrants is weeks away from taking effect.  Our voices are needed now more than ever.   Voces De La Frontera is joining movethegame.org in the fight to move the 2011 all star game out of Arizona. Wisconsinites have an important voice in this national effort because Commissioner Bud Selig is native to WisconsinSign our petition demanding that the MLB Commissioner stand on the right side of history and move the game.

Do what’s best for baseball, as well as all of us, and move the 2011 All-Star Game unless Arizona changes its harmful and hateful immigration law.
The signature deadline has been reached for this petition. Thanks for your interest!

Join us this Tuesday July 13th at 12:30pm at   Bud Selig's Major League Baseball office in downtown Milwaukee at 777 E Wisconsin Ave.  Wear your Brewers gear and send a message to Bud Selig that intolerance is unacceptable and all star game must be moved.
