LMC Pay Your Workers Right!

Workers employed at LMC Wash and Lube Carwash on E. 109th St in East Harlem and at other LMC carwashes across the city face exploitation on the job every day, as they are forced to work long hours for illegally low pay and without overtime compensation. LMC workers have no benefits, paid sick days, or vacation days and no promise of raise.
LMC workers are standing up for their rights and East Harlem is standing with them. Sign the petition below in support of the workers.
John Lage, Owner LMC Car Wash--
We are outraged by the fact that employees at your car wash have worked for many years earning well below the minimum wage.
We stand behind the workers and support their fight for back-wages and benefits.
We believe that all workers deserve a living wage and fair contract. The East Harlem Community supports local businesses that respect workers rights, as loyal customers we demand that your business set an example for fair labor standards.
