Take a Stand!
Raise Standards at JFK and LaGuardia Airports
As residents of New York or passengers who use this city’s airports we believe that no one should have to live in poverty while working full time at our airports. New York needs good jobs and responsible investments in our communities so workers, their families, and the neighborhoods that surround the airports will have the opportunity to flourish.
In addition, millions of travelers depend on airport workers for crucial services like cleaning, security, baggage handling, and wheelchair assistance.
Raising standards for airport workers will not only lift thousands of workers out of poverty, it will also support local economic growth and improve the quality of services for passengers traveling into and out of the New York region
