Take a Stand!

When Governor Cuomo came into office, he said “we have two public school systems, one for the rich, and one for the poor,” and that the state should serve to “equalize.”

Instead, inadequate school funding over the past five years has hurt students all over the state and deepened the inequality between wealthy and poor districts.

We need the Governor and the legislature to increase school funding by $1.9 billion and to make sure it is fairly distributed. Use the form below to send your message to Governor Cuomo.
