Caregivers Count!

Rep. Nita Lowey recently introduced the The Social Security Caregiver Credit Act of 2014 (HR 5024). This bill acknowledges the work of caregivers nationwide by ensuring that our Social Security system finally recognizes the work of caregivers when calculating earned benefits over a lifetime of work.

Because the majority of caregivers are women, this is a key opportunity to expand both women’s economic security and to expand Social Security!

Stand with Rep. Nita Lowey (D-NY), the National Organization for Women and partners in supporting The Social Security Caregiver Credit Act of 2014 (HR 5024).
