Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor Congress . . .
The U.S. Postal Service stops for nothing, and Congress won't halt Saturday mail beginning August 1st unless we allow it.
The problem is that in 2006, Congress gave the Postal Service a mandate to pre-fund 75 years of future retiree health benefits over a 10-year period, a mandate endured by no other government agency or private company.
Ask your members of Congress to cosponsor bills that end the mandate now.
